Terms & Conditions

By visiting or using this website, purchasing any of our products or services, or joining our community, you are agreeing to the terms set out below. Please read them carefully — they are written to be clear, not to trip you up.

Who We Are

This website is owned and operated by Consciously Parenting Project LLC, doing business as Thriving Humans (“Thriving Humans,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our website address is https://thrivinghumans.org.

Thriving Humans is a collaboration of guides, seekers, and storytellers committed to helping people thrive — in their own skin, in their relationships, and in the lives they are building. We offer educational resources, a podcast, online masterclasses, retreats, books, and a membership community.

Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing this website or using any of our products or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or purchase our offerings.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Educational Purpose — Not Therapy

Everything on this website — including the podcast, masterclasses, retreats, letters, community discussions, and all other content — is provided for educational and personal-growth purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, counseling, medical advice, or crisis services.

Thriving Humans is not a licensed mental health provider and does not provide therapy, psychotherapy, or clinical services of any kind through this platform. Our founder, Rebecca Thompson Hitt, brings more than 30 years of experience in the field of human development and relational health, and while her background informs our work deeply, engaging with our content or community does not create a therapeutic or clinical relationship.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any medical emergency, please contact a qualified professional or call your local emergency services immediately.

Use of This Website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this site without our written permission.
  • Use the site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
  • Scrape, harvest, or mine data from the site using automated means.
  • Impersonate Thriving Humans, Rebecca Thompson Hitt, or any other person or entity.
  • Post or share content that is defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or abusive.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website for any user who violates these Terms or whose behavior is harmful to our community.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, podcast episodes, video recordings, worksheets, guides (including the Brain Stoplight materials), course content, masterclass recordings, and written letters — is owned by or licensed to Consciously Parenting Project LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

When you purchase a course, masterclass, or other digital product, you are granted a personal, non-transferable license to access and use that content for your own private, non-commercial purposes. You may not share login credentials, reproduce, resell, redistribute, or publicly display any paid content without our express written consent.

Free resources (such as the Brain Stoplight video and guide) may be shared for personal, non-commercial use provided you credit Thriving Humans and do not alter the content.

Paid Products & Services

Thriving Humans offers a range of paid offerings including online masterclasses, retreat registrations, books, and community memberships. By purchasing any of these, you agree to the following:

Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We use secure third-party payment processors, and your financial information is handled according to their privacy and security standards. We do not store your full payment details on our servers.

Digital Products & Courses

Access to digital products is typically granted immediately upon successful payment. Because digital content is delivered electronically and cannot be “returned,” all sales of digital products are final unless otherwise stated at the point of purchase.

Retreats & Live Events

Registration for live and online retreats (such as the Radical Rest Retreat) confirms your spot in that event. Cancellation and refund terms specific to each event will be communicated at the time of registration. Thriving Humans reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events due to unforeseen circumstances; in such cases, registered participants will be offered a full refund or credit toward a future event.

Refunds

We want you to feel good about your investment. If you are unsatisfied with a purchase, please reach out to us at within 7 days of your purchase date. Refund eligibility is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is subject to the nature of the product or service purchased. We do not offer refunds after course content has been substantially accessed or after a live event has occurred.

Thrive Community Membership

The Thrive Community is a membership space for ongoing learning, connection, and support. By joining, you agree to participate in a spirit of curiosity and kindness — the same values that guide everything we do here.

Members of the Thrive Community agree to:

  • Treat all community members with respect and dignity, regardless of background or perspective.
  • Keep personal information shared by others within the community confidential.
  • Refrain from using the community for self-promotion, solicitation, or advertising without permission.
  • Avoid sharing, reproducing, or distributing community content outside the membership platform.

We reserve the right to remove any member who violates these expectations or whose behavior compromises the safety or integrity of the community. Membership fees are non-refundable for the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.

Email Communications

By signing up for our email list, purchasing a product, or joining our community, you consent to receiving communications from Thriving Humans, including newsletters (Letters from Rebecca), product announcements, and updates about our offerings.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly. We will continue to send you transactional communications related to any purchases or active memberships.

Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services — including podcast hosts, payment processors, and community platforms. These links are provided for your convenience. Thriving Humans is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites, and a link does not constitute our endorsement of that site or service. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

Disclaimers

This website and all content, products, and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy and quality of our educational content, Thriving Humans does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from using our resources. Personal growth is a deeply individual process, and results will vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Consciously Parenting Project LLC, its founder, team members, guides, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website or our products and services — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our site or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.
